The 35-year-old British actor has been sporting a mustache lately for his role as Dr. Waston in the Guy Ritchie-directed detective flick Sherlock Holmes.

Jude Law continues filming for Sherlock Holmes, set in Manchester’s Northern Quarter, UK, on Wednesday.

The 35-year-old actor started working this month with Robert Downey Jr., and Rachel McAdams for the film based on Arthur Conan Doyle’s detective Sherlock Holmes. They will be filming some of their next scenes in Liverpool in November.

Jude Law reportedly almost bumped into Sienna Miller when they both went to see Damon Albarn’s African Express at the BBC Electric Proms, earlier this wek.

Jude Law walks with his entourage at Mipcom 2008, a content event for co-producing, buying, selling, financing and distributing entertainment content, held at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes on Thursday.

Kenneth Branagh, who was set to direct the 35-year-old British actor in the West End production of Hamlet next year, has been forced to withdraw due to commitments to a new film based on the Marvel comic book character Thor.

Jude is currently filming Sherlock Holmes, and has been spotted on London sets wearing white collarless shirts and black trousers for his part as Dr. Watson.

Guy Ritchie, who is directing Sherlock Holmes, is currently going through a divorce from Madonna.

“We’re going to try to introduce something we haven’t seen before, authentic to the narrative,” director Guy Ritchie has said of his new flick. “We’re trying to make this film fresh. We should have some good fight sequences.”

He added, “My one concern was the accents but this is no longer the case. Robert Downey has the best English accent I’ve ever heard. Also Rachel McAdams is playing American (love interest Irene Adler), which is true to the books. Outside of that, Jude is obviously Brit. Robert was obviously going to be the big one, and we seem to have transcended that particular hurdle.”

Jude Law leaves his home in London on Wednesday, sporting a mustache that he is growing for his new role in Sherlock Holmes.

The 35-year-old British actor was then spotted using his cell phone while driving his Mercedes.

Jude is currently filming for Sherlock Holmes, where he plays Dr. Watson. Robert Downey Jr. was cast as Sherlock Holmes, and Rachel McAdams as Irene Alder, a femme fatale.

Set in 1891, the film revolves around Holmes and Watson stopping a conspiracy to destroy Britain. More Here! »

Jude Law shares a laugh with filmmaker Jeremy Gilley at the Peace One Day Concert at the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday in London, England.

The two British boys, along with featuring musicians Annie Lennox, Peter Gabriel, Lenny Kravitz and John Legend, promoted the Peace One Day campaign for an annual day of global ceasefire.

MySpace CEO Chris DeWolfe was also in attendance and is pictured inside.

The Albert Hall audience also saw a screening of Jeremy’s film about his tireless endeavors, The Day After Peace, which he said will be shown in every school in America next year.
